Yesterday, I punched myself in the face in the supermarket car-park.

I was loading the bags into the car, I was in a hurry, I grabbed one bag thinking it was the really heavy one with bottles and tins in, but it wasn't - it had kitchen roll and bread in it.  Of course I lifted it with force thinking it was heavy and it wasn't.  My fist which was gripping the bag handle and the very light bag then connected with my face.

I felt a real idiot.  A number of people saw.  A lorry driver waiting to unload was nearly killing himself laughing.

What have you done recently that was an act of monumental stupidity or caused embarrassment or both?

Marginally better than being thought of as a slapper I suppose. 😁

I bashed my shin badly on a supermarket trolley - the lump still hasn't gone down and it is very tender.  I was leaping about like a loon - pure agony.

The trolley had a pull down bit underneath, for extra shopping I suppose - it was down and I hadn't noticed.  People were sniggering.

I got up and dressed at 7am yesterday.  When it was still dark an hour and half later I realised I had got up at 5am.  I think my phone was telling lies for a laugh.

My Mum was so busy being nosy that she walked into a lamppost and nearly knocked herself out but carried on walking in case anyone had noticed. She also had a problem when the elastic in her petticoat broke and it fell to the pavement, she walked out of it and carried on walking down the street in the hope nobody noticed

just now i was preparing pork chops for dinner put black pepper olive oil garlic granules and paprika  then i thoght a little salt (comes with grinder )started going over chops then the lid fell off and i ended up with 3/4 bottle of salt all over my chops my language was not for the faint hearted x

I decided to have a bowl of soup - chunky vegetable - for lunch yesterday, took it into the lounge and put it on the settee and promptly caught the edge of the tray as I sat down and it spilled all over me and the settee. It scalded me quite badly and I had to rip of my jumper and leggings sharpish. Soup will henceforth be eaten at the table

Didn't cause embarrassment as I was at home alone, but this morning I picked up my blusher brush to brush my hair!

I then tried to put both of my legs in 1 trouser leg and nearly fell over.

Dare say there will be more mishaps to come.

I left my phone on top of the car TWICE yesterday. First time I had driven about 2 miles before I realised & stopped. Fortunately it was still there!

Second time I set off up a hill & heard a thud - the phone had fallen off the roof & landed on the road. Luckily it was undamaged!

not been a great day for me ,after the salt fiasco i set fire to my oven gloves, luckily i saw them ,i'd left them near the hob x

Well Barmaid, look at it this way, at least you brightened someones day up :-)

I got up this morning.

(Stupid I know, but I felt the need for food & drink {shrug}.)

Stupidly, I stayed too long on AB yesterday!

Took a Battery operated PIR off by my front door as it was hanging off due to recent high winds and decided to put it back on when I returned later as I was going out and hadn't time. It was pitch black that night and I was helping to bring the two wheelie bins through my side passage, past the front door and out the front for the dustmen. I forgot the bloody great Porcelain flower pot opposite the front door which, of course, was not illuminated. I was tripped up just below the knee and landed on my face. The result was skin flailed off my right shin from above ankle to below my knee. It still gives out awful nerve twinges even though it is slowly scabbing up. Blood thinners didn't help either.

Try to use my Tesco card in Sainsbury's...

Was it a price match thing Patsy ? 😉

Not personally - well, no more than usual. Today my friend sent me a viral video of the delightful sisters, Lisa and Nicole. Lisa had locked herself out of her home and gained entrance by going through an open window, ably assisted by Nicole until her b00btube dress let her down. I won't post the link here as it is the original video with no censorship. However, it can be seen on itvx on This Morning on 2nd February episode, complete with suitabe censoring. I cannot emphasise my regard for Lisa who has no animosity for the person who posted it on the internet. She truly is a good sport who enjoys a laugh. If you wish to see it, the piece starts about 6mins30secs into the programme. Well done Lisa :)

Is that one who had an upside down accident? I saw that yesterday...😉😆😂
