Evening all!

A middling start for me this week, with FOUR out of seven in the main quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-64825206

There are some nice easy questions in the kids' quiz this week (as, indeed, there always should be - it's meant for young 'uns , after all!). Even so, I couldn't manage full marks and had to settle for FOUR out of five:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

I couldn't quite manage half marks in the Timed Teaser though, with just FOUR out of ten this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-64785756

So, unless maths has changed a lot since my day, three fours gives me an aggregate score of just 12, which I reckon most of you lot will beat easily enough. Er, you will, won't you?

Well done with that impressive 6, Cashier ( - and on beating me too, of course!).

Well done with that 7, Toorak! The Timed Teaser is never easy!

I'm beginning to get the feeling that everyone is going to beat me today!
Well, a strange result!

Good evening, Sam. I continue to struggle along nicely, thank you. I hope that you're well too!

Well done on getting improved scores this week - even if it does mean that you've beaten me ;-)

Hi, Haras2. If I was you, I'd be counting quizzes, rather than points, this week. That means that you've beaten me 2 - 1 ;-)
[Welcome to the Terrific Twelvers club, anyway!]
A fairly good week, 5, 5 and 7.
Question Author
Well done, indeed, Milo2! You're way out in the lead!
5/7
4/5
6/10
An appalling 4.

My excuse is i have had 2 miserable cats to care for this week.
Question Author
Good scores, as ever, Lie-in King! Well done!

(Surely you'll have a bad week just once though, won't you? It seems to get ever harder to beat you - although Milo2 has actually managed that this week!)
5/7,4/5,6/10. Puss Puss and Bailey horrified that human has not only been spending time feeding Norman and Magic today but has also been hobnobbing with Peppi the kitty tonight….just not good enough. Hope you and the kitties are well.
Question Author
'Appalling', Barmaid? Surely not! (It's what I scored anyway!)
;-)

Hi, Campbellking! Well done on exactly matching the mighty Lie-in King this week!

I can well understand how Puss Puss and Bailey are severely disgruntled by their personal human finding time for any other cats ;-)

My lot are as wonderful, and as troublesome, as ever. Moonbeam has now decided that the pillow at the top of my bed is his personal space, meaning that I had to go out and buy anothe pillow, so that I could put it at the foot of the bed and sleep 'upside down'. However Tablo immediately commandeered that pillow and, with Chequers taking up the middle of the bed, I ended up trying to sleep in an armchair the other night!
4, 5 and 5. I was pleased with full marks on the kids’ quiz, with no guesses :)

I’d love it if my cat nicked my pillow. Instead she uses me as a giant pillow. She will not be moved.
'Evening all, quite pleased this eve.. 5/7 5/5 (!!) and 5/10 = 15 :)

Barmaid (if you're still around):
I forgot to ask why your two cats are 'miserable'. I hope that they (and you) aren't unwell.

Well done being perfect kids this week, Clover and Jourdain2 (and to Milo2 and Haras2 as well, of course!).

Well done on your good aggresgate scores too (with Jourdain2's score earning joint second place at the moment).

Your cat sounds lovely, Clover! (Chequers sometimes likes to sleep on top of me. He weighs the better part of 9 kilos though, so it's not always the most comfortable of experiences!)

I knew some! SIX
