It can't get much better than this. I'm sitting in a nice, comfy armchair, with three happy and healthy cats nearby, with Cèilidh na Bliadhn' Ùire on the telly and a glass of decent port in my hand. I'm hoping that it's a sign of good things to come in 2023 ;-)

The guy in the avatar ain't too pleased, he's at my feet shaking like a leaf. Doesn't want to sit with me, doesn't want to hide in a dark corner, and when the really loud ones explode, he gives me a look as if it's my fault.
He'll be okay once the noise has abated.
