Next Advent Anagram Competition

Hi, I'm trying to solve the Next advent anagram competition and am stumped, so hopefully, someone can help. There are 24 letters, but I have no idea how many words there should be and there seems to be an awful lot of 'A's. Anyway, the letters are as follows;

NDAAGRATPEDRINIAAERPETER

I can make Grandparent and lots of smaller words - and, paid pair,dear, sent (not sure if any of these are correct.
