And I’m so nervous! It’s such a long time since I had one and it’s been a long time since I had a job. Can’t face the thought of eating even though I’m really hungry :(

Just be yourself. Have some questions ready to ask them.
Good luck!
The very best of luck to you ,think positive and you will get the job, just keep thinking positive all the way through the Interview .
Good luck, sherrardk. It is nerve-racking. You’ve done it before, so you’ll be fine. What’s the worst that can happen?
good luck and take care...
I wish you the very best for tomorrow ((sherr)), I'm sure you'll walk it & they'll be wondering why they'd not known you years ago :-)
Good luck.
Is it in the same area of work that you were doing before?

I'm sure that you will impress them and get the job. Good luck to you, think of all the extra money. :-)
Good luck for tomorrow. Be yourself and maybe think about a few of the usual questions this evening.

Why do you want this job?
What will you bring to the role/our organisation?
What experience do you have that will be useful in the role?
What elements of the job might you find more challenging?
Tell us about a time in your professional life when you had to think on your feet/change a plan at the last minute/persuade someone towards your idea/stretch a budget. Or so on depending on the role.
When can you start?
Yeh, get that job!!
Some nerves are to be expected, just have snacks for now - best of luck with the interview.xxx
You've have a job. Raising 5 kids is a job!!

You should breeze it, good luck x
I think when you're actually at the interview, you'll feel more together, and confidence will take over. Best wishes.

Thanks all, just need to give myself a slap :)
Just don't do it in the interview :-D
KISS - keep it short and simple

when asked why you want the job - DON'T say you are not sure actually

tell them why you are the fella for the job - two heads, fifteen fingers what ever your USP ( unique selling point) is

go to bed early and be on time
that is enough advice
Imagine the interviewer with no clothes on, it’s supposed to be a great leveller. That’s how I met the wife:-) good fortune.
Good luck sherrardk! Try and eat some toast!
You'll be fine, sherr... xx as ummm says, with five children, your organisational, diplomatic and interpersonal skills will already be brilliant, without even including professional experience. (Similar theory to david), just imagine they have already interviewed lots of semi-literate, clueless idiots, and are looking for someone with some common sense and life experience and who is willing to learn anything new.
Best of luck xxx
The very best of luck for tomorrow.
I hadn't worked for so long, for one reason or another, that I gave up hope of ever been employed again but DID eventually manage to get a job and a job that I love at that.
Good luck.
Good luck Sherr - if it helps try to remember that quite often the interviewer may well also be nervous. I've done quite a few at work over the years and it is quite daunting. That might help you more than the imagining naked thing.
I've interviewed a lot of people, I always feel better with those who just admit they are a bit nervous (or obviously are) than those that act as though they know everything already. Really, most places want decent humans who will turn up and do their best.
If the new job is businessy or corporatey- ignore me- as they seem to have different rules.
But interviewers are as human as you, so be honest xx
