Decorator asked me to get him to get silicone to glue trim to skirting board in bedroom. Guy in shop gave me filler saying it was same thing.

That was on Monday - I asked decorator will it do - he said he would have to wait and see if it worked.

I can certainly bring it back but any of you know if the filler will glue the little trim to skirting board. thanks - I have to get out out today so want to make sure he has all his bits and pieces.

right murray - will get silicone thanks
pleasure Conne xx
Sorry .. neither Silicone or filler ard meant for gluing or sticking trim. What you need us known as grab adhesive.
No nails, Gripfil or Pinkgrip are all meant for sticking trims and boards. They are quick drying and grab instantly.
alavahalf has got it right. There is a tool or adhesive for every job and silicone and filler are not the right ones for this type of thing.

well sorry MM - but went to local builder and explained to him what it was needed for and he gave me exact adhesive.

guy was here until 7.00 pm from 9.30 am - what a worker. back at lunch time tomorrow to finish what he can do for now.

hopefully will be back next week (some day) to do the ceiling and he asked if it was okay to bring friend which of course it is.

unfortunately he can't do the living room but that's ok with me as these long hours sorta take it out of me and it can be a long day.
good stuff Conne xx
