Hi,
Have had a letter from someone from this company, they've seen my property for sale & are apparently interested in buying it as a rental home. They're saying they'd want to buy it direct from me, without estate agents, & I'm obviously wary. Called to speak to the guy but he wasn't available but I did get the company name. I can't find anything significant on the Internet about them other than the company does exist. Just wondered if anyone had actually dealt with them.

No dealings with the property company mentioned, but have you signed a contract with your estate agent? If so, they may sue you for any lost commission if they have a sole agency clause written into it, unless you are also allowed to market the property.

I'm using Purple Bricks so am obliged to pay their fee regardless, so can do what I like.
I've been in touch with the guy who wrote to me &, as I suspected, they'd want the property for a ridiculous price so a non starter really.
