Well just in from dentist and didn't get my usual one - she is on holiday but got a lovely fella - he was really patient and said I had banjacked the last one so he had to do quite a lot of bits and bobs to the new one . No more hard sweeties for me - in fact shouldn't be eating any sweets. To be honest I don't really eat many -I treat myself to Revels now and again - but they have changed some of their sweets they don't seem to be the same. He advocates these implants as well as there were would only be two small bits of metal holding the 4 teeth but at the moment these will do. He has made them quite tight but as he said I can try them out and I can keep on going back until they are ok. I'd rather have them a wee bit tight than too loose but will give them time. If I had have had the nerve and the money implants sound really good particularly they don't upset any of your own teeth. Maybe if I win the lottery and the nerve.

Met a friend whom I literally havent seen for about 4 years - we nearly walked past each other but have made arrangements to see each other perhaps in another bank holiday in August. She works so we would have to fit around that. I am very fond of this friend - we go back a long time - but she is extremely philisophical - black and white kind of girl so am looking forward to a nice time with her - a nice meal and one or two or three drinkapoos.

Ill have a cruise around here and then down to clean - - sorry to be boring LOL but that's my wee life. JjCon

well done for getting it together and going to the dentist

golden tooth for your fridge ...
-I treat myself to Revels now and again

Hey jj, do you miss the coffee ones ?.
Question Author
I do Tony - and terrible it sounds but Asda here open 24 hours and I bought myself a bag of £2.50 ones one late night (was craving for a sweetie) and I ate the lot - even the toffee ones. but no more Tony - will have to go for jelly beans or jelly babies now and rip their bloody heads off cos I don't like them. Yes the coffee ones were nice - I think Revels are SherrardK's favourites too and she misses the coffee ones.
jelly babies now and rip their bloody heads off cos I don't like them.

Good enough reason that, jj.

£2.50 bag !, you greedy hog jj ;-)
put the money saved towards a good bottle of wine or, if you have the patience and discipline, a 'culinary weekend away' fund. For example, how about this place, one of my favs, northwest of 'Arrogate in Nidderdale?

quite a few bags of jelly-beans but actually not that many over 3 months.
I remember one Christmas I got stuck into a tin of toffees. Two of my fillings stuck to them.
They should come with a health and wealth warning: These toffees could damage your teeth and help you run up a bill at the dentists.
Question Author
you bet Sandy £2,000 or £3,000 for a bloody toffee. That's a price and a half.
How nice - I hope your re-friending is a delightful success.
Question Author
Eh Canary = could you explain re-friending cos I aint sure
Renewing a friendship?
Question Author
That's what I thought Sandy - never knew you and I had one cross word here in all the time of posting. Perhaps Canary will explain later.
Question Author
Haven't heard from Canary about what he's talking about
Jennyjoan, if you read your own post you will see on the second paragraph you met up with a friend after about 4 years, I would imagine that's what Canary was referring to
Question Author
thanks for that answer - it does become hard to describe things in black and white - maybe that is what he meant. But even Sandyroe and myself saw it in a different light.
Question Author
Anyway ^^^^ refriending wouldn't be the word - I have explained we have been friends for years and years and that wouldn't apply to Sandyroe and myself.
jenny joan. Refriending is a Facebook term. It is not a derogatory thing at all. It just means making friends with old friends. Canary was not being unpleasant, just being trendy. Chill!
I don't think so, reading the thread, seems it was only yourself didn't understand, I can't speak for any of the posters but the ? after Sandy's comment looks like he's asking you, don't you understand what re-friending is.
Just my observation. I think maybe you should reconsider the thread title, not chillaxed enough.
Question Author
i am not on facebook so wouldn't have a baldy what you's all talking about - sorry.
Question Author
anyway haven't heard from Canary himself regarding the comment - as Sqad wold END OF
Question Author
^^^ Sqad "wouldn't say" END OF. This op started as a really Chillax for a mo - coming from a frightening dentist - did not think it would end up like this.
