Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I agree, Jackdaw- I've just been looking at Botanical Genus and there were loads.
The 4-4 rather than 4,4 also indicates the answer is not someone's name

Okay thanks- it seems it has to be a name of a person.
There are two books that have lead characters who are described as botanical geniuses- one is Seymour from little shop of horrors- not sure who has played him- and Mr Cave from Eucalyptus but i can't find his first name

Did the OP mean to that the answer is hyphenated or does the dash just mean two words of four letters?

the letters of 4-4 are the amount of letters in the surname but no i havent got it do you have 57 a yorkshire fisherman (7)

But Moby Dick was a whale, not a person. It looks to me as though the answer is (Dick) ????-????

in no 28, the 4-4 letters refer to the surname, not to Tom Dick or Harry which are the christian names that we also have to find.Still appreciate you trying to find an answer for me.
