Bit of a warm day, been tidying up the garden and verandah, cleaning out the backyard fire pit. Youngest is partying tomorrow night.

True. The Aussies are so much better at BBQs than the Brits. Here, they tend to be done by ,mainly ,chavs. I can't think of a better way to ruin perfectly good food than to BBQ it. I hate Barbies in this country and always try to get out of any invitations in the summer. I hate the smell of them too. Always gives me migraine. Yes I know, Old Mrs Grumpy Drawers.

We have the world's supply of chavs here in the UK. They are EVERYWHERE. !

Not a bad day today, thanks, Oz, nights are getting cooler and we've had a couple of fires this week, but that's about normal....haven't seen the leaves changing that much though. Did you have a good Easter break, ok here till it went pear shaped on Monday !

We have our fair share of "housos" mainly in the suburbs around the cities. In the country areas we have "bogans" bit like a houso/chav but less bling.

When I do a barbie there isn't a burger or banger in sight. beef/lamb/pork steaks, chicken, fish for those that can eat it veggie kebabs etc.
Much better.

We had four or five days of storms over Easter Seeks, they were very welcome. Days are nice again but cooling off during the evenings, be firewood cutting time soon.
