HI folks, have made a start on this, 50 to find in total, but still quite a few I haven't got a clue about ....

Life on Mars
You've been Framed
Mr. Selfridge
The Killing
Dr Who (Bad wolf)
Wolf Hall
Strictly
House of cards
The apprentice (Stuart Baggs)
Room 101
downton Abbey
Call the Midwife
Utopia
Staying In
Countdown
Coronation Street
The Voice
two pints of lager and a packet of crisps
Merlin
Dragons Den
the office
East Enders (bust of Queen Vic on the castellated tower)
the voice
Gavin and Stacey (Billericay to Barry)

well that's 24 done, nearly half-way there ....

and just few questions ... what are all those stones on the steps all about
and the 8+8+8 on the brick wall of the tower?
the red arrow things with the black dots?
Steve Coogan?
"this does nothing" words around a red dot on the pavement at the bottom of the steps.
The Mammoth (left hand side)?

any help would be mukch appreciated. Chox.

The red dot is pointless. Thanks v much for location. Feel that mad men should be in there but I'd like a bit more to connect with the sobriety chip
I may be going off at a tangent. I wondered if the gold police badge is supposed to represent a low winter sun ie in visual appearance as well as symbol then maybe the silver sobriety medal is supposed to represent the moon. A silver coin is usually given for 1 day the one for 12 months is bronze. I found that there was a program on discovery channel called moonshiners about brewing illegal alcohol in Virginia. Since I've never heard of it it feels to obscure to me but maybe if someone has seen it they could throw light
Right, so we have I'm a Celebrity... * Breaking Bad, rather oddly in green * The Killing * The Bridge * Borgen * Wolf Hall * 30 Rock * 6 Foot Under * The Apprentice * Utopia * Life on Mars * Lost * Two Pints of Lager & a Packet of Crisps * Strictly Come Dancing & SpongeBob Squarepants * Family Guy * House of Cards * House * Ripper Street * Merlin * Dr Who * Downton Abbey * Being Human * TV Burp * Room 101 * QI * Not Going Out * Little Britain * Caribbean Cooking Made Easy * Sherlock * Glee * Call the Midwife * Gavin & Stacey * I'm Alan Partridge * The Office * 24 * Countdown * Coronation Street * The Voice UK * Pointless * Wooly Mammoth the Autopsy (rather than Fortitude where the mammoth is less significant but entrants should upbraid the BBC for the ambiguity) * The In-Betweeners * Mom (the AA sign) , which should be 44. of the remainder if the CCTV camera is in the original photo , which it would be good to see, we have 5 left. Low Winter Sun, perhaps for the Detroit cop badge. The Big C on the helicopter (rather than any other letter in the show's title ) leaving us with NAOMIS WED, the pesky red pins and the f shape in front of Harry Hill.
Sorry, 45, not 44.
AA chip = The Missing
Police badge= The Shield
filmbuff: The 'f' near Harry Hill is Heroes and the pins are Location, Location, Location. Just wondering where you're getting Borgen?

Thanks mork30. Both def right
Going off the blue planet as it's not the tv image but rather neptune
Mars06, The first answer at the top, posted by ParrotBoy gives the clue 'if an item does nothing it could be considered to be ..............?' And I immediately thought of 'Pointless'. Nobody else seems to have mentioned it but that's the answer I'm going with.
I've got Location, Location, Location as well.
mars06. Have just realised there is a second page which my previous answer to you has just appeared on and of course other people have already mentioned Pointless. Good luck with the rest.
Then again it's commonly called the (second) blue planet rather than the frozen planet
The Shield is set in L.A. not Detroit - which Low Winter Sun is. Borgen is Birgitte Sorensen on top of tower next to Colin Morgan.
Is the Countdown board just one clue in itself or do the letters shown form the basis of a second clue? Naomiswed could refer to Naomi from 90210, which I have put as one of the 50 answers.......except now I have 51. Oh dear.
film buff, I think the blonde actress standing to the right of Merlin on the roof, is Claire Danes who plays Carrie in Homeland not the actress from Borgen. But I had to look through a magnifying glass to be sure!
I agree with Homeland. They don't tend to be as tricky as having two answers in one clue. Womanised has appeared as a conundrum. It could also refer to the famous women involved in the show. Also you're better off with 50 answers!
Re the police badge - the shattered/fragmented word is metropolitan, not detroit. Am sticking with The Shield.
Thanks ramsfan for the advice. I think I've finished now at last!
Yup, agree it's Claire Danes but some clues in this quiz are too ambiguous , viz the mammoth and the AA coin which could be Mom, or Mad Men, both involving AA.
film buff, I've put 'The Missing' down for the AA chip clue. A sobriety chip was a vital clue in the story, but still not sure. I agree some of the clues are ambiguous.
Which one represents "Lost" please
