The oven's on a go-slow for cooking the chook, the washing machine has piddled on the kitchen floor again.

The dog escaped, but is now back safely.

However, I have the sanctity of AB

There's always a plus side :-D

The washing machine no longer roams all over the kitchen on spin cycle
the cat's piddled on the floor again :-(

I too am on AB :-):-)

ooh, Boxy, we used to have a washing machine which met me at the kitchen door :-)
Friendly thing.

lol Chris, exactly! :-D
We went shopping and OH accidentally walked out with a mop he hadn't paid for. Can't believe the cashier didn't spot it in his hand as he was talking to her for long enough...

I've cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the cupboards, put the shopping away, sorted out the washing, made lunch and now I'm chilling with a glass of wine.
Sorry to hear of your plight Alba. Glad the dog is back. The others are inanimate objects that can be replaced if necessary!

ummm, can I borrow yer mop?
may as well make use of the free water to wash the floor :-)

Grassy,
worse things happen at sea (so I'm told)
We've been scratching our heads about the dog, back garden gate is shut, she can't leap the fence anymore (age and girth) we're blaming the pals who have left.
and the dog is not saying anything.....

the pooch, who is now asleep, wants her lawyer.

The chook, however, is cooked.

Now time to start thinking about the roast spuds.
We went to Aldi as it opened this morning, the Sunday offers included a steam mop for 26 quid...... the pile of people scrimmaging for steam mops (including us) was amazing to behold!

...nor ever sanctimonious, of course :-)
Let me know what it's like, Boxy, I might invest in one.
