School Days Quiz

Stuck on one.
The answer is something associated with school.
Gathering. 9 letters.
The obvious one was assembly but that is only 8. I have seen reception suggested. Wondered if anyone else had any thoughts?

Concourse (double meaning)

concourse noun 1 in a railway station, airport, etc: a large open area where people can gather. 2 a throng; a gathering.

I must have read an amendment somewhere as I have altered the letter count to 8 on my copy, will see if I can find it.

I wonder if the quiz setter either miscounted or mispelt? When I googled "assembley" there are loads of instances of it spelt with an e in it.
