Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I have a question for the setter of this quiz. Under the Silver heading the question is SL by SD. Could you please tell me if the SD is the right way round. Thank you.

Hi factor-fiction yes you are correct. I have an answer but two of the letters are wrong way around and just wondered if it was a typing error.

Good question, never thought of that one, who knows. I will keep on looking to see if I can find another that fits the way it is shown.

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I was waiting from a response from the organiser. I have been told that we cannot enter into discussions about the questions/answers as this may put some people at an unfair advantage/disadvantage,
I do not know the answers and have been advised to ask anyone who raises queries that you give whatever you think is the correct answer to each question.

Sorry if that doesn't help, but obviously it has to be fair for every person who is having a go.

No it isn't and I worded my query carefully - but cannot blame this lady as she is only a go between. Maybe they will void it, just have to do our best.
