Is anyone else finding AB has been terribly slow over the past couple of days?

No. Running fine for me.
It was for me yesterday, seems faster this morning though ( google chrome ).
Have you tried emptying your browser's cache?

Or even tried AB in a different browser?
Just how do you empty your browser cache? I see this advised often but have no idea what it means.

I’ll give it a go, Gromit. This is painfully slow.
Yes I posted this answer at 7.45 last night
No. My answers are slow to load - but only since they've reached 3000.
Tilly- which browser do you use (Chrome, IE, Firefox...)?
Hi pixie- yes we have had a delay for some time when clicking on My Answers. There was a thread about this a couple of months ago. Ed agreed it was a problem for those of us with lots of answers. (I have to wait over a minute for mine.) Maybe your question will remind the Ed of the issue
Hi factor. It's probably worth the older answers being automatically deleted after a certain time?
I use Chrome, factor.
Weecalf

That's not very helpful.
Not posting the answer here or saying where you posted the answer before.
top right hand corner tilly, click on the three three horizontal bars, check history and downloads and use the clear options
pixie - I think the idea is that AB is a bank of answers, so answers don't get deleted.

Tilly- you should have a little icon at the right of your screen showing 3 small horizontal bars. (it's on the same line as the address bar).
Click on the 3 bars, then click on Tools and you'll have an option to 'clear browsing data'.
You choose which things you want to clear and then press ENTER
Thank you, factor. That seems easy enough.
Lol. Oh yes. Doh!
Note: Clearing the cache may log you out of AB.
Really Ab Editor. I used Safari and delete my cache and history every morning and never have to resign in.

Things like login details might disappear if I delete cookies, though I do not know if AB uses cookies.
Yeah on Chrome - you sign out on deletion

phew remembered password !

phew (2) can be raided by the Le Vell or Nige Evans squad and they will find....
nossing
Hi Gromit - clearing the cache can me a lot of different things, including clearing your cookies.

We use cookies for your logins, for advertising (so, for example, you don't get given the same ad forever) and for general tracking (so we know how many people spend how much time where etc).

Naomi, I've not experienced the slowness you speak of.
