I'm having a very frustrating time with my computer this evening and all the delights of this evening's meeting has been lost by my computer so, in order to get this meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club underway I'm taking a short cut.
The Tailcock: Summer Rain
Hot Plate Special: Spicy Spanish Chicken with patatas bravas and allioli
The Pudding Trolley: Crema Catalana (Spanish version of creme caramel)
The Minstrels will be playing Madrigals and Fugues in the gallery and later on they have threatened to give us their take on the Greatest hits of Jon Bon Jovi
As always the hot tub bubbles, the bungee is nice and bouncy, the moat is still full of piranhas, (the bungee has been moved to it no longer bounces into the moat - elf and safety) the grounds of the Towers are open to all members of MOFC, as are the rowing boats on the lake, the games room is available to all as is the swimming pool in the basements.
Since we didn't hold the rofl last week, all prizes have been "rolled" over for tonight's draw.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Yes, queenie ?????????
Lordy.....see the baby goats...jumping through hoops..they can JUMP through HOOPS.... do you think they will want them on fire?!?
mmm yes but they do make the most lovely socks...so soft...so warm
Thanks DT, wonder if they will give a discount for buying in bulk.
Queenie, no fire please, don't want them to get singed
Wow, your doing a great job with the goat training queenie, I think that you and the goats should audition for Britain's got talent !.
I wasn't going to light them...I was worried incase they wanted me to! They are lively little beggars! But so cute and cuddly
That was so refreshing. Suppose we should return to the throng. Yes, not missing an R. Need to check on Eric and Malkin. They also need friends. A hovel in the woods is not exactly welcoming. Flying brooms and talking cats can feel quite isolated.
Queenie, don't let them fool you, they like dangerous things. They have no fear !.
Daisy, bring Eric and Malkin in here, They would enjoy the company I should think.
Igor, when did you last see a goat knitting?
Question Author
Daisy, aren't Eric and Malkin here at the Towers? You know they do like to be in the snug, Henry is in there all on his own curled up in he little green chair in the corner (his favourite spot)
Not very good in water: I am like a fish with a brick in my mouth. Does the pool come with optional extras, like floats or rubber rings? Or, maybe, a dishy lifesaver?
Ooh Madame Daisy, you are funny, the goats don't knit. Nanny does. She takes the wool from the alpacas and spins it into yarn and then knits the socks and scarves and all sorts
Do you think that Nanny would knit me a Villa scarf if I asked her nicely, Igor ?.
including wool chastity belts too, I am led to believe.
Not tonight nungate. Too windy to fly safely. Had to use something called a router? Think they were happy to have the night off.
Well hello Spoonboy, you've not been to the Towers before I think. do you qualify? Are you whispers [i over fifty? (if not you will need special permission to be here. Sadly no dishy pool boys but there are plenty of flotation aids around the pool, and we also have close circuit tv monitoring all pool activities ....... [i] after the incident with the strawberries and the chocolate
fire guard it was deemed necessary ]
