I'll put 4) more clearly - I really can't make sense of it either - clue is PLACED IN NO 13, 4,2,5 letters. Thanks for previous answers

Sorry mallyh, just cogged on - answer to no13 is window frame, so the answer to 4) would be panes of glass !! what a numpty I am for not realising - put it down to the wet weather !!!! Thanks mallyh and everybody else who answered
