Recently discovered the Jeremy Kyle show on television and I must admit that I have become addicted to watching it every morning. Any one else watch it or do you think I must be mad? I am just fascinated by the people on the show and can't believe they are for real.

Strangely I was talking about this today - I was in a beauty salon and they had the tv in the corner on JK. All the staff were commenting on it "Oooh he didnt!", " I knew he wasnt the father!". It was quite funny.

I absolutely hate that programme, and I honestly wouldn't watch it unless there was a very large amount of money involved.

I watch it sometimes for a laugh! The blokes (and sometimes the women) nearly always have little or no teeth and yet have plenty of sexual partners! I'm sure these chavs come on it for their 15 minutes of fame and they don't realise how bad they look with all the shouting and aggression. Frankly, I don't know why Kyle wants to help people like this and also can't understand why he hasn't been punched yet !

I should hate it but couldn't. There was a sort of strange fascination. Thankfully I've not had the opportunity to watch it for a while but when I did, for a while about a year ago, I got hooked.

They must pay the 'guests'. Why else would you go on a show when the other person is insulting you, or calling you a bad parent/drug addict/thief .......??

They do pay an appearance fee. Plus you get a hotel for the night. I think people consider it a holiday...

I think some of them go on for the free hotel for themselves and the hangers on.

I would rather watch paint dry. It seems so much like when genteel folk could be taken around lunatic asylums, as a perverted form of entertainment. Don't forget that the Philpotts appeared a few years ago.

What on earth are you watching daytime TV in the first place leahbee ? Surely you must have something better to do with your time ?

I was waiting to meet someone in a Town Centre pub that we both knew but had never been in, near the Train Station.

I listened in fascinated horror as a group of snaggle-toothed, mono-browed, track-suited 'regulars' totted up how many, and which shows they had been on.........and were planning on appearing in next: Jeremy Kyle, Trisha, Vanessa, etc.

Needless to say, I have never been back in there. LoL

I'm addicted to the US version on ITV2 at 6pm - just love the way he handles the Yanks. Best comedy show on TV!!
