It is with great delight and owing to wi fi problems, by the skin of our teeth, that we are again able to open the doors of Nungate Towers to welcome in all Mad Over Fifties (not to mention one or two under fifties who qualify under the "special rules" for membership) to yet another evening of frivolities and fun! From the creative skills of our very own Queenofmean, tonight she has decided that tonight's tailcock (one of her own creations) will be the "Blonde Bombshell" a melange of white spirits and a secret blend of fruit nectars and spices - it packs quite a kick!! The hot plate tonight will be a delicious Mac and Cheese, (my very own creation - not your everyday mac and cheese!) we also have a selection of cold cuts, volly vonts, and canapes, and on the pudding trolley there is a huge sherry trifle.
As always, the hot tub is fired up and bubbling away on the North Tower, the elastic has been tested for the bungee, and tonight for one night only we have turned the Ballroom into a Roller Rink for roller skating (skates and safety gear provided) The Minstrels are tuning up in the Gallery for their customary Fugues and Madrigals, and later in the evening they have promised a selection of the Greatest hits of Alice Cooper!
For the rofl I have: One snow shovel
One green wellie
A cuddly Loch Ness Monster
Box of choclate covered Brazil nuts (minus the
chocolate

The Tapster has set up the bar, Igor has polished his chains, a warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals, so come frivol.......

Carriages (or sleighs depending on the weather) at Midnight

Here we are DT, a Luscious Lucy............

I'd have thought a frozen lasagne inedible anyway..............much prefer one made from "scratch" Haven't made one in years though, I may do at some point soon.
its pretty easy to do, nungate.......pasta sheets from the pasta tree and a side of hoss, just make a good bechamel from goats milk......
I hope so Tony and DT, just wish June would hurry up then I wouldn't have to put up with all this waiting stuff.

When did you make lasagne?
Only joking about the frozen lasagna's, Iv'e never eaten a lasagna frozen or otherwise.
thank you for the juicy luscious lucy, nungate
Tesco did a nice one in their Finest range, but I'm not too keen on buying it now.

It was all the faffing about with the different sauces and so on Tony, I used to be so impatient, now I'm a "tad" cough older I seem to have more patience in the kitchen and my cooking which was always good is now really good (so I'm told) and Queenie is also a good wee cook - though her baking is superb............
Evening nungate. For the rifle I have:
Fluorescent pink gumshield
Tube of arnica tablets
Roll of self-adhesive bandage
A frozen haggis, slightly nibbled pizza, a slice of bara brith and a croque monsieur.
Would love a blond bombshell (please note no e on first word) Will settle for the tailcock.
gawd blimey, a pink minty thong with matching gumshield.....she will be spoilt if she wins.....if she shows up!

evening Daisy!
Right I see nungate patience comes with cough age then. Sailor boys a lucky lad then.
