Thank you for your prompt and helpful assistance,Mojo-Jo-Jo and mac44. 10 across was the one I really wanted to know the answer to.
I had rue for 5 down. It could be rio or roo but it does not matter as I never submit the puzzle for a prize.
I suggest the answer should be "over easy" - check your justification of the first "E"
"ROO" IS SHORT FOR KANGAROO
Those are the same clues and answers from yesterday's paper. Don't say they've made a whoopsie and printed yesterday's puzzle again in today's edition? In that case I won't bother buying it today. I never read it. Just like to do the crossword.
