Has anyone else noticed how OTT the lighting is on this show? Colours, patterns, movement - sometimes in a long shot, you have to search to see where the skaters are. What's all that about, the lighting seems to be the star of the show now. What's wrong with white ice or at least tone down all the colour. It's just too busy and irritating.

its an entertainment show. in 240 minutes you get around 15 minutes of actual skating content, so really you are watching a chat show with special effect lighting.

i record it and watch it all in around 20 minutes. life's too precious.
The lighting, flashing colours and the audience noise all give me headaches, and seeing as a lot of these shows are over the top these days, I have a permanent headache if I watch them.

I am old and grumpy! :o(
They should carry a health warning for migraine sufferers!
I do exactly the same Ankou, but only because I get fed up with all the training bits and now Christine Bleakley's on it, its even worse!
I've never watched any of Dancing on Ice before, but just watched a bit on ITV player, and I agree with FoxLee - too many flashing lights and not enugh skating! Mind you, I was quite interested to see Louis (?) being serious - I've only ever seen him flaunt his gayness on TV quiz shows before!
