Well fellow puzzlers, another Christmas is almost upon us.
I don’t know whether your brains will be on full alert for this Christmas Eve’s effort so I have tried to make it as straightforward as possible with no tricky links (hopefully). I wish you all the season’s greetings and all the best for a happy and prosperous New Year.

Next week will be the end of my watch, I will be thinking of something suitable for the farewell, and I am looking forward to being on the players' side of the counter for the January competitions. Thanks to you all for your patience, and to Gen2 for his assistance and guidance with the computer. I find it very hard to pick up the tricks of a computer in my dotage.
