Can anyone tell me the face value of stamps - first class, second class and large letter stamps? I can't find this information anywhere on the Royal Mail web site and it's driving me mad. Cheers

What our Gilliflower wants to know, I think, is what is the cost of a first and second class stamp and the cost of large letter stamps.

Surely there isn't a 'face value' on a stamp.

It is only marked with the service level it will give you e.g. first class

Its value will be whatever the cost of that service is when you use it which may be different to what you paid for it if you bought it before a price rise.
Summary:
2nd class (up to 100g, and within the size limits): 36p
2nd class large letter (up to 100g, and within the size limits): 58p
2nd class packet (up to 100g, and within the size limits): £1.33

1st class (up to 100g, and within the size limits)): 46p
1st class large letter (up to 100g, and within the size limits): 75p
1st class packets (up to 100g, and within the size limits): £1.58
