Having a rather drunken conversation last night, we got talking about films, really well known films especially from our childhood/growing up years (we're all in our 40's) and it amazed me the "classics" some of them hadn't seen. Mr Boo for example hasn't seen Grease! I mean how is that possible??

Over to you, what "classic" films haven't you seen?

It's not that I haven't seen them but more that I couldn't stay awake through any of the Godfather movies, I don't like them. :-/

Anything with Al Pacino.................
not many, but i haven't sat through all of Citizen Kane, no idea why, and
sorry but i don't think Grease is a classic, that would be Casablanca, or The Postman always rings twice.

But that's a don't like it kinda thing innit? What I'm after is films that for whatever reason have completely passed you by whether you don't fancy 'em or never got round to watching them. A friend of mine said she hadn't seen Ghost. a
It's difficult to remember what you haven't seen, the only one that comes to mind is ET.
I know.. I have had this conversation with some of the girls that I work with.. One of them has never seen Star Wars or Lord of the Rings! I could not believe it!
China Doll - a friend and I went to see The Godfather, and walked out halfway through as we found it so boring.

I've never seen The Wizard of Oz, and since it's been shown on television so many times that must be quite unusual.
I love grease!!!
gone with the wind......doesnt really appeal but is a classic of all time.

why I put it in quotes em, I admit, its not a classic in the true sense of the word, but for folk our age, during the time, there was no escaping it, I'm flaberghasted someone of our age (as ive said, 40's) has so far just not got round to seeing it.
Yeah I guess, I have started to watch them but just get completely bored... erm, Raging Bull, I've never seen that. I've also never seen a Rambo movie. Actually, I've never seen disneys Snow White either. Are any of them classics?

Craft - What is you avatar? Is it a shower head or a phone?
I have never seen any of the indiana jones films
DT, now now, frankly my dear i don't give a damn, i was so in love with Clark Gable, and if you haven't seen "It Happened one Night", with Claudette Colbert, then you missed a Hollywood classic
do any of the Star Wars count Boo?
Question Author
I've not seen Raging Bull either, so I guess im as bad!
I've not seen Grease (other than brief snatches of it when it's been on TV). I've not seen Star Wars. I've not seen . . . oh, hang on, there's a 4000 character limit but I could easily list over 4000 film titles!

I've not been to the cinema for 14 years. (The last film I saw was 'Fierce Creatures'). I hardly ever watch films on TV. That's partly because I rarely watch TV but also because they hardly ever show any decent French (or other European) movies, which I much prefer to most of what Hollywood produces. Bollywood movies (which are usually great fun) are equally rare, and I've never known a single Nollywood film to make it to UK TV screens.
