You don't know Shap - what sort of school did you go to!!!!

Used to be one of Britain's finest roadside caffs on the left of a bend on the A6 as you climbed up from Kendal going northwards.....

My father had a story about driving over Shap in reverse during Second World War as it was the only gear that would take the incline.
