I don't think it should end in "tart" as that is not delicate to the taste.

I was thinking "something" lemon dainties and when googled, a lot of recipes came up for Cheat's Lemon Dainties which would fit the clue and they are cookies/biscuits (although I thought that this meant a quicker way of making the originals) ???
I am sure cupid or quinie will come back with some answers or suggestions.
