Clapham Common?
How do you get that quinie?
Saw Clapham Common in a list, Googled Nick Clapham and lo and behold there he was Never heard of him! Could be way off track though.
It has been pointed out before that there only 4 possibilities, none of which really made any sense till quinie's answer. I certainly have never heard of him but it now seems that this is the right answer.
I only see obscure Nick Claphams on Google?
So do I mamyalynne. I was thinking there may be an error with the number of letters. If it was 7 and 5 instead of 7 and 6, I thought it might be Parsons Green (as in Nicholas Parsons).
Hi,TheWinner,I think your answer probably makes more sense than mine. I googled Nick Parsons and there were quite a few. The quiz setter perhaps made a mistake,Cate_gory
Hi quinie.
My answer was more of a suggestion. If you get the correct answer, I would be interested to know. I, too, may be completely wrong, but I am always willing to learn!
p.s. The Nicholas Parsons I was referring to, was a famous TV presenter, (NOT Nick Parsons).

I would guess at Hendon Central (6 & 7, not 7 & 6)

Hendon is the location of the police college, i.e. Nick
Central Park is in New York ...
Yes, I realized that though I never thought of him as Nick! Perhaps Cate_gory will let us know when she gets the answers.
Yeah, and put us all out of our misery.
Hmmm ... if the number of letters is wrong, then the answer is far more likely to be Hendon Central (6.7) than Parsons Green (6,5)

You decide ...

Is Nick In This Park? Hendon Central

Is Nick In This Park? Parsons Green
Ellipsis, I am sure it is you that is correct. Well done.
Ellipsis, well thought out! The capital n in Nick made me think it was a person's name and must admit had never heard of Hendon Police College. We can stop racking our brains now.
