2 Collect if n is wrong

Thanks for replies - I have changed the n to an e and collect now fits. The other word now ends in l, so waxbill would fit as would sawbill, I can't fit either to the clue though.
To wax means to grow, as in "a waxing moon = the moon appears to be getting larger"
waxbill, wax as in moon - grow larger
