No letters for 9d but it will give the initial letters fo 11,13 &15 across.

Those answers give 9d the letters - H-I--- (6) I can only think of Shrimp which would make the initial letter of 15a a P. And I think you are correct with Palm Oil ladylex.
Except......
....... I must have 2d misspelt, Lee go flat out on flute. F-A-E---T (9) I have got flageleot. which gave me the 'E' in the 15a --e-/oil.
