Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Finished grid bar 2 clues. 1 clue is cluess, too!
Initially thought that 27across was Top Hat, yet now think it is Top Act? Would like your input.

27across) Lead in Tootsie getting Oscar- superb film(3,3) ?o?,??t

25down) cluess in both paper& online. 3 letters first is definitely the letter A( a from Strabane in 24across) 24across) Antbears out of place in Northern Ireland town( Strabane is an anagram of antbears & is an N Ireland town)

Have emailed the FT for the clue for 25 down yet have not heard & neither have others that have emailed them- very bizarre. This is a Prize crossword, too. Have finished the rest of grid. If Top Act is right for 27a then 25 down will be A?A ( a-ha, perhaps, or even aga?)

If 25d is a word, as opposed to an abbreviation/acronym then it must be ASH I think.

Thanks Rollo. Thought it Top Hat at first then changed mind yet was right initially !! Thanks for the explanation- you are 4 star. Also thought Ash first of all so looks like that that is indeed the answer. Not sure why the FT did not print the clue for 25 down?! Not sure why they have not replied to message either. Rollo thanks very much for your superb help.
