Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I only tackle the Mephisto once in a while because it is too hard, and I know that, if I look at it and manage a few clues, I will spend the next week struggling with it until I have finished it (I think a psychotherapist may have a label for me, but I'm not prepared to waste time finding its name when I could be working on a Mephisto clue!). I made the mistake of starting on this week's, and have made headway in the bottom half. Some help with getting into the top half would be apreciated. Eg:
1d May postman now be so openly supportive? (12). Only sure letters are ???????R??NG.
1a Tree on island perhaps a timely bonus? (12, two words) - thought Christmas Island might have something to do with it, and nice if there was a tree called a 'tip', but...
