Someone I had to detail my car got a product called Purple Power degreaser on the inside of my windshield. Its made for cleaning Vinyl, tires, and rims. Not glass, now I have a heavy gluey film. I tried vineger and gasoline. They don't work in removing the stuff.

If anyone has a suggestion or solution to my problem please help!

Thank you kindly, imikec

I would work my way through meths, white spirit (will pong for a while!) & Ajax glass cleaner. Something must shift it. Acetone (nail varnish remover) is also an option, as is a strong detergent, you`ll just have to experiment. It must be a nightmare with the low autumn sun. Good luck.
Regarding the first answer:

Try meths, but don't under any circumstances use acetone, or to give its proper name propanone. It will destroy any plastic trim!
dont laugh but try baby wipes ?
Hi, I do detailing in my spare time, Use Fairy Luquid neat on your screen that will move it.
