need a bit of help?

i bought a wrx sti from a private dealer a week ago, but since then it broke down in the motorway and i had to get it towed away back to my home. but i got 6months left on the warranty from subaru, can i bring it back to them to fix even doe i was not the original buyer????????? and i did not buy it from a subaru dealer
