Error 678 when attempting to connect to internet

Again I think I had this question in wrong plaace so here goes aqgain. Apologies if you have read it before.

Quite often when I try to connect to the internet I am unable to do so and get a message 'error 678'. Does anyone know what this means? As is obvious I am not terribly computer literate
