Vans slip ons .. are they just for skateboarding

Hi everyone. My middle aged hubby wears converse baseball boots. He wants some shoes to wear in the house but doesn't like slippers. I thought that Vans slip on skateboarding shoes looked comfy .. are these really just for boarding and if so, how are they different to other shoes. Sorry to be so dim. Any advice gratefully received.

Hi bizzylizzy,no they`re not just for skateboarding in,at least i hope not coz i am 40!Seriously though they are very comfy,he`ll love em!
