Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

An outstanding puzzle. Good job there is snow on the ground and temperature has not risen above freezing for 2 days so an excuse if it was needed to devote last evening and most of today to unravel all of this. Tricky clues with misprints, extra letters and extra words and a blank grid. They don't come much harder than this, and make sure you read the preamble really carefully right to the end. I agree, an extremely good puzzle, and no ambiguity at all about the highlighting if the instructions are rigorously followed. One of my top three of the year. A proper Listener. Great stuff, Craft

Yes, a really tough one with some great challenges throughout. It reminded me a lot of Shark's Manhunt puzzle from a couple of years ago. There was a lot of cold-solving required - the theme fell after around 60%, but I needed around 75% of them before I could attempt the gridfill. Thankfully it all slotted into place. The amount of detail in this one was really impressive. Many thanks, Craft!

Thanks Craft for a daunting challenge. I had great fun completing the grid and solving a tough set of clues.

As is often the case I have no idea as to the theme, and I look forward to learning what it is on 23 December!

Some very tough clues in an excellent construction but everything fell into place eventually.
A far greater struggle than one finds in a bog standard carte blanche.
