Just saying what?
It’s the same person?
Germans are predicated to kidnapping children?
I suppose it would be some sort of relief for the parents of both children to have closure, as awful as it might be.
Just saying what?
Mary Bell and I both have Scottish mothers?
And?
What seems strange is that Ben would now be around 30, so if it’s a small body and it is him, this suggests that it’s been stored somewhere all this time. If someone had taken the trouble to do this, it doesn’t fit with carelessly disposing of the body in a river.

I am saying that I wonder if the Christian Brueckner suspect in Germany for the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has been has been checked out if he has travelled to the Greek Islands in the past as well as Portugal. That is all.

Would there be a body after all these years?
Could be, Barsel. Kept in a freezer, perhaps, not unheard of
Oh, I see. I was thinking the body had been in the river all these years.
I really don't know

Any theory's or anything interesting to add to this tragic discovery aa.?
I don't know if I read this in a novel or a news report, or even watched it in a tv drama.
A murderer had kept a body in a chest freezer for many years but the house was being compulsorily purchased so he had to dispose of the body and the chest freezer.
He buried the body in the middle of a wood and took the chest freezer to the tip.
Can anyone jog my memory as to whether this was real or not? Not really relevant to this news story except shows how a body can be missing for many years before being found.
Question Author
Plenty of real life instances ,barry ,of bodies concealed in freezers for different reasons. Some are murdered and some die of natural causes but relatives or whoever hide the body and continue to claim benefits etc etc. The case you describe is not one that springs to mind but I recall a detective drama where a fridge features in the investigation. I'll ask the wife when she gets in.
