although i oppose it i think scots independence is a foregone conclusion...
I doubt the Daily Diana is the best place to look for objective analysis.
This time it will be a generation or a lifetime.Us Scots prefer to remain friends with the English.The SNPers not so much.Nationalists will be nationalists.
I doubt the dream will go with those that want it but maybe it will quieten down and the UK can get on with the job of building the UK back together.

It really depends on who takes over, time will tell.
No more than it ever was. There will still be those whose heart rules their head, and wish to pretend that the UK government is nothing to do with their Scotland, thst the Scottish people had nothing to do with it, and they must have a Scottish government ruling them only. But hopefully wiser heads will continue to remain in the majority.
The dream is over for the time being. The Scottish people can see through Sturgeons rhetoric and are fed up with her.

Nicola is a victim of her own arrogance. Support for the SNP doesn't equate to an overwhelming desire for independence but is a result of the electorate's dissatisfaction with both Labour and the Conservatives. They feel they have no one else to vote for.
