I am getting this message on my Canon Pixa MG 4250. Is there any easy way of fixing this at home without having to go to a repair shop. The cost of repair would probably mean i would be better off getting a new printer.

I’ve done this in the past for Epson printers - they had hidden sponges that I had to remove and wash out - very messy. Then had to perform an ink counter reset.

Not sure if the Canon has similar or if its just the bits where the cartridges sit.
