I hope I'm not being morbid, but I wonder how many of you hear a name and wonder whether that person is dead or alive? I am of course talking about famous people that were either pop stars or film stars who died before their time.

There is a website dedicated to American stars, but do we have a website of people from this side of the Atlantic? Some names that come to mind are John Lennon, George Harrison, Keith Moon, Brian Jones, Billy Fury, just to mention a few.If you do think I am being morbid, I will blame it on my age!

Hi missprim, a site that I like to dip into every now and then is called Entertainment Insiders www.einsiders.com and follow the link for obituaries. Although it's an American site it has a good mix of British deceased as well.

Anyone that was anyone in the music biz will usually have a tribute site for them somewhere on the web.

Thanks for that halfadaily, I checked it out, but I was looking for a site that is dedicated just to lets say European stars. the website I found which lists the American stars is www.fiftiesweb.com/dead/dead-people.htm but it's not just fifties stars. I found it quite enlightening, I had no idea that some of these stars were no longer with us.
thanks for the link missprim, that's another one for my "favourites". I often find it supprising that people I thought had died years ago were still with us for so long. I suppose the thought is that stars don't retire!
