No, I don't like Wilf, but names catch on and it may become popular ! I didn't like Eric when Simon Cowell called his son that, but I'm used to it now !

Bobbs/Shirley - Wilf isn't a name I'd ever associate with anybody under the age or 80 and doesn't wear a cloth cap. :-D

I read the name Romy, was after Carrie's favourite Aunt, whose name was Rosemary.

Bob's, Johnson's real Christian name is Alexander. Some of his family call him by that name but it was (apparently) he himself who ditched it in favour of his second given name.
That's one use of middle names, Ken.
