Short report from Sainsbury's in a North West coastal resort in U.K.
A free for all, packed down the aisles, some shoppers masked others not and the large trolleys heaped to the gunnels with produce. Turkeys, bacon sausages, payslips etc champagne and beer......some restricted Christmas.
No restrictions on the number of shoppers allowed in attending same time which was regulated BEFORE the severe restrictions recently announced.
Variant laughing and rubbing its protein spikes ready for a New Year bonanza.
Happy Christmas from sqad and the Variant.

Yesterday, I walked away from two Waitrose stores and one M&S store because of queueing so from what I can see, the shops around here are limiting the amount of people inside as they did in the original lock down. Even the butcher was only allowing one person inside at the a time.
I went to Sainsbury's yesterday expecting the worse. It was just a normal shopping day with plenty of produce everywhere - you couldn't move for sprouts! I got everything I wanted and didn't even have to queue to pay, I walked straight to a till. So glad it was like that as I don't intend to go shopping again until next week.
