What Animal Horn Is This

Anyone know what horn this is? Its part of a picture frame thats surrounded by 1.5cms thick animal skin.

Possibly Shagreen, was often used for decorative objects.

Could also be bone of some type.

Due to the thick skin I hope it is rhino horn - of more value & much needed (as per PP) moolars ;)

As per Shoota, almost certainly walrus tusk. Rhino horn isn't bone and anyway you wouldn't be able to do anything with it if it was as you can't even give it away let alone sell it :-)

Tambo if it is rhino horn and you try and sell it you won't have to worry about money for a while as you'll be a guest of her majesty and not in Buckingham Palace lol!
