Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Yes - it looked horrid, but was actually not that difficult once I'd got a handful of clues to fit neatly in the top of the grid.

The grid looked fearsome, but completing it wasn't too hard as Artix was kind enough to throw some generous clues into the mix. I struggled to find the theme, despite working out the entries for the dotted areas quite quickly. I think it was pure luck that I stumbled on the cells to highlight, since I had never heard of the song, although it turned out I did know some of the text words from a rather obscure opera. It seemed like GWIT to the ninth power while solving, but when it all came together I revised my opinion. This was a very decent puzzle and certainly fair.

I did a lot of blind internet searching for likely words from the song, based on the relevant clues, and this threw up the lyrics to a number of rap "songs". After reading some of them I felt like I needed a good long shower!

Great fun, thanks, Artix. I enjoy carte blanche puzzles, and always appreciate a changed grid with real words left.

I am very familiar with the song so a straightforward ending for me, for a change!

A very accomplished puzzle with a lot of thematic material. I agree it wasn't as hard as it looked thanks to some generous clues, though asymmetry made the lower half trickier. One clue in particular defeated me until the end, after filling the empty cells. While going through the nouns and verbs in the clues I did think of the source though I didn't link it with the song, though I do remember that. The trouble is I very rarely pay close attention to song lyrics.

I really loved this one, though there's still one clue I can't parse. The song is one of my favourites.

It took me longer to find the song than do the rest of it. Haven't even heard of the song, but there again it's not my genre.
