well said, there is no need to this panic buying - this frenzy is just greed, and what's with the loo roll anyway?? I asked this elsewhere on social media and someone said it's when someone sneezes or coughs in public, ppl *** themselves in fear
Nailit, I am not panicking, many people are not panicking - but the people who have panicked have lead to there being a shortage of toilet paper in some places. Yes, a crazy situation - but it did happen. I'm hoping that the madness is over...
The whole thing's a farce, even a streaming nose for 2 weeks (which is not a feature of coronavirus anyway) you'd be hard pressed to get through more than 2 rolls.
Nailit. My local Tescos, Sainsbury's and Lidl have none. I haven't got time to drive all over town looking for something that one can generally buy with no problem. Great to say "stopit" when "I'm ok, jack".
I live in the East Midlands and I have not been in any shop that does not have plenty of toilet rolls. Also, plenty of tinned food. There have been empty hand sanitiser shelves though and pasta is selling fast, but being restocked.
Presumably, once all the panic buyers have bought what they think they need, everything will return to normal for the rest of us.
