Hi Bobbs - welcome back. I've been to Seahouses and the Holy Island, lovely, lovely place, had a great time there. Quiet for me tomorrow night as well, but I have a friend coming the next day and I'm doing us a buffet!
We're often in that beautiful area of the country. Just lovely. So unspoilt.

Hi HereIam, yes it’s very pretty up there, the weather was quite mild ( the warmest NY for over 120 years so they reckon) but the tiny fishing village laid on a spectacular firework display on Friday at 6pm and their Christmas decs were lovely and so was the huge tree near the harbour x

It’s as if time has stood still Naomi x
Beautiful. I'd love to go again. Apparently today, so Mail Online said the other day, is going to be the warmest New Year's Eve for 178 years !! Lovely and sunny here right now.
I know Seahouses quite well. My husband dives off the Farne Islands. Did you take a boat out from the harbour there to watch the seals?
yes Bobbi was funny whilst I was out this morning at betting shop, came back to find Christmas present but no labels on so no idea who delivered it.
Hi naomi - I didn't when I went, but maybe Bobbs did ...
Question Author
No, not me, I’ve a bird phobia and all those puffins and seagulls would have me rocking the boat haha
That’s odd Tony?hope they were nice presents ?
Been as well when I lived in the Dales. Lovely. Didn't go out in a boat to see the seals though I did do that from Blakeney Point in N Norfolk one time.

Hi LB, I hope you’re on the road to recovery now and had a pain free Christmas ( as much as you could after such a major operation)
Thank you but laughing here Bobbie - your avatar - with a cigarette!! The cause of my problem. Where's that picture from, I vaguely know the face?

A very suntanned , wrinkled , ORANGE nana from Benidorm LB
I don't smoke by the way LOL
Thanks Bobbi. Never watched Benidorm so must have seen the picture in the papers. Regarding smoking, good for you. Wish I never had.
All good here. Merry Xmas and happy new year.

As I said above, we don’t, and I’m not waiting of the 5th to take the tree down either, that’ll happen on the 1st then Lola can have her seat by the window back , haha
