I met a smashing bloke from Stoke, last week. He was running a stall at the local market selling garden furniture. Staffordshire Garden Furniture, the company was called. He was selling beautifully made chairs and tables. It's a pity that I have all the furniture I need , otherwise I would definitely have bought some.

We were chatting for ages and his parting words to me were, ' I'll be back next week and I'll bring you some oatcakes down, duck'. Lovely. :-)

Funnily enough Tills, not had (stokie) oatcakes for ages but bought half a dozen tonight, put all kinds of things in them...aside from the cheese..for my tea/supper.
