There is no limit to how many times you can use a letter in the word,,,but it must contain the letter in brackets. Can you find an 8 letter word that means 'CHEEKY'

Scorpiojo,,,last weeks answer was TETHERED,,,they had actually put the wrong clue word!!!
This week the 8 letter word can only contain the letters
C R (I) E D
I still dont get these. Does that mean it must contain exactly one I. And does that mean it need not contain one or more of the other letters but can include some at least once?
not sure i understand this.... insolent / impolite ??
So you can use any other letters as well as the one in brackets and the other given letters may be irrelevant?
The 8 letter word must have at least one 'I' in it

The only other letters that the word can, but not necessarily, contain are 'CRED'

fiction-factory.
Here is the full desciption as printed in the paper!
Can you find 22 or more words containing only the five letters shown. Each word must include the centre letter,,,in this case (I),,, and must contain at least 4 letters. There is no limit on the number of times you can use a letter in any word. Your list should include a cheeky 8 letter word.
Does that make it clearer? I already have 30 words but just cannot find the cheeky 8 letter one.
Thanks. So can't be insolent/impolite
So the word may not mean cheeky- it's just a cheeky word
derriere
