Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

This has an extra letter added to wordplay.Local baited line for catching pink paper bird (6) T?A?LE The answer should be teagle, but I don't know why or what the extra letter is!

Thanks Neveracrossword, now I'm stuck again I have 6 extra letters in type one & 12 letters in type two (O??????????E) am I right so far? and what do I do next? It's probably staring me in the face!

You're welcome. Your counts are fine. Unscramble the six (fairly simple) and then just stare, hard, at the twelve!

Thank you Neveracrossword, I've got the 12 letter answer (a city) but (stupid me) I'm struggling with the 6 letters as I can't make an anagram of them to make a phrase. Sorry to be so dim!

I maybe mislead you earlier when I said unscramble them(the six letters), you just read them in order and put them in front of the 12.
