I have two answers that I do not fully understand and I wondered ( hoped) that someone could explain them to me please. The first is " foolish traveller turns up nearly frozen" the answer seems to be " moronic", which I suppose could mean foolish. Ic I guess is icy without the y but what about the rest please?
The second is " stockholders from firm having millions invested in city" the answer, I think, is cow men. Again I understand it in part . The definition seems to be right and " co" I have seen elsewhere can mean firm. Millions is, I suppose, m. But the rest has me beaten.
There are some others that agai I can't fully understand but I'd better pause there!

Thank you. I did not know that wen meant city, nor did I know that Roma could be shortened to rom. I am very grateful to you both.

The great Wen, an old term for London.

Which just goes to show that you can keep on learning even at my great age! Did I never know this or is it that in my dotage I have forgotten that I once knew it?
